Alejandra Cijntje
Alejandra Cijntje (b. 1993, Curaçao) is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of visual art and literature. Her practice seeks to archive, reinterpret, and reimagine Caribbean narratives and collective memory. Through her work, she creates spaces and subjects where metapsychic symbolism, archetypes, and the subconscious engage in an active dialogue with the medium and the participatory vessel.
Her poetry and essays have been featured in publications by Wintertuin Curaçao, 6ISLANDZINE Volume 4, and the anthology Kaba ta Kuminsá. Her visual signature spans across publications, scenography, and collaborative zines. In 2025, she debuted her first solo exhibition, ‘Pegasaya su Tela‘, at The Curaçaosche Museum.
